About EFT

What is EFT?

EFT Stands for Emotional Freedom Technique also known as “tapping”, and its origins come from the traditional Chinese medicine practice of acupuncture.

EFT is the practice of using your figure tips to tap on the meridian points of the body to release stress, fear and other negative emotions that are stuck in the body.

How TO DO EFT?

How you do EFT is that you pick an issue that is bothering you. It can be mental, emotional or even physical, something that you’ve experienced or witness. You focus on said issue while you tap 5-10 times on each of the 9 meridian points of the body until the intensity of the emotion shifts.

The Effects of EFT

What makes EFT so powerful is that we’re sending a calming signal to the amygdala to stop the fight or flight response that is caused by negative and stressful events and emotions.

Because we’re targeting areas in the brain that goes past our logical thinking, dictated by our frontal lobes, EFT helps calm the nervous system, balance our emotions and energy, reduces cortisol and helps us to see things clearly.

We’re able to get to the root of our troubles and clear them quickly, instead of trying to rationalize them through traditional means that can take a lot longer to resolve.
